Character Biography
"The bad news is, the Nazis win the war...the good news is, we know how they do it."
These were the words Dax Northender spoke to the first assembly of the Midnight Men. He then introduced AGENT ECHO, a time traveler from the year 2005, and a future where the Nazis had conquered the world. He alone was able to hijack a time-machine and travel back to 1940 in order to warn America that it needed to enter the war. If it stayed on its present course, the future could not be changed, and the Third Reich would win.
And everything started with Panzerverks.
His warning is what prompted the drafting of Dax Northender, and in turn, all of the Midnight Men to begin their covert work in Europe ahead of the US involvement. Though he was born long after the war had ended, he had a solid enough grasp of history to properly detail the events leading up to global enslavement. He had an advanced knowledge of technology compared to most 40's era people, but not being a scientist himself, he couldn't help Northender and the other science-savy members of the group with his rather narrow understanding of future technology.
Agent Echo is highly trained in hand-to-hand combat, investigation, and interrogation, and brought back the weapons he used for his job. He has a pair of goggles that allow him to see in the dark, and analyze people's body-temperature fluxuations, (invaluable when trying to detect when someone is lying.) He also carries an Tele-force ray-gun (made by Pazerverks,) which is deadly accurate and very destructive.
In his own time, Agent Echo was a member of the "Invocation Initiative Police," or I.I.P. This branch was tasked with hunting down dissidents and free-thinkers and bringing them to the Fuhrer's Justice. He was an exemplary agent until he fell in love with a girl in the resistance. She was able to break his fascist brainwashing and get him to see the true state of the world they lived in. She was the reason that he took a one-way ticket to the past in order to make the world a better place...destined never to see her again. Her name...was Jessica Northender.
